Notes:
This tea originates in the famous Alishan region of Taiwan, where the leaves are grown at an elevation of 1200-1400 metres. It is processed further north in Nantou county by a talented tea making family. They have used excellent quality leaves to create a tea with the honey flavour and aroma characteristics usually found in a leaf bitten tea like the Gui Fei. Surprisingly it is not actually leaf bitten but those characteristics are brought about in the baking and oxidisation process. Tea makers in this region are known for their expertise in making this style of tea.
