Baozhong (or Pouchong) is a signature Taiwanese oolong. It is very lightly oxidised so combines some flavour characteristics of green tea and the floral sugar cane notes of the classic Taiwanese high mountain oolongs. It is fresh, refreshing and lively. Like a walk in a Spring orchard.
This particular Baozhong is an excellent example, sourced from a very dedicated tea making family in Nantou, who consistently present us with amazing quality teas. See our Taiwan Tea Travel blog post for more information and photos.
